So what is it?

It's a text adventure game.
When you type FACE NORTH = You are facing north. WALK FORWARD = You step forward. LOOK = In the north is a door, next to it on the northeast side is something else. You get the idea. A door will you go through yes or no? NO = You do not open the door. A quick tip you won't get very far typing no all the time.

It's a puzzle game.
The rooms have puzzles in them, admittedly it's mostly find the key or the password to open the door.

It's a first person game.
As you move around the rooms, the x (east and west) and y (north and south) coordinates let you know where you are. Also there are images for each room which are mostly seen from a fixed perspective and meant to act as a guide for what's in the room, rather than following the user as you move around the rooms.

It's a completely silent game. No music and no sounds, so it's a bit like a book, only with less words and quite a bit dumber.

It's a survival horror game.
I was aiming for absolute terror but I think I've only managed brief spookiness, you be the judge.
