The charging time calculation in Charge Planner follows a linear progression up to 80% of the battery capacity, utilizing the specified charging power. This means that the charging time during this initial phase is directly proportional to the charging power.

For the remaining 20% of the battery capacity, the charging time is calculated using a quarter of the specified charging power. This reduction in charging speed reflects the fact that EV batteries typically charge slower as they approach their full capacity.

It's important to note that this charging time calculation method provides an approximate estimate. Actual charging times may vary due to various factors, including the specific characteristics of the vehicle's battery and charging system.
