The board game Chess is widely popular and is referred to as the Royal Strategy Game.

The rook may travel any length in both vertical and horizontal directions.

Chess has two unique moves:

A double move, casting is executed by both the moving rook and the king. By moving an passant, a pawn can capture the pawn of its opponent by jumping over a field beneath the pawn's attack.
