Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet Muhammad said: “O people, Hajj has been imposed on you, so perform Hajj.” . A man from the Companions said: “Is Hajj obligatory for us once every year, O Messenger of God?” The Prophet remained silent, so the man repeated his question twice.
Five conditions for Hajj:
Islam in the sense that non-Muslims may not perform Hajj
Mind, there is no pilgrimage to the insane until he is cured of his illness
Puberty, Hajj is not obligatory for a boy until he reaches puberty
Freedom, Hajj is not obligatory for the slave until he is freed
Ability means that Hajj is obligatory for every Muslim who is capable and able.
