The text of Al-Shatibiyyah called Harz Al-Amani and Wajeh Al-Tahani in the Seven Readings is a compilation of Imam Al-Qasim bin Fayra bin Khalaf Al-Shatibi Al-Ra’ini, and its original name is Harz Al-Amani and Wajh Al-Tahani. The number of its verses reached 1173, in which Al-Shatibi organized the seven frequent readings on the authority of the imams Nafeh, Ibn Katheer, Abi Amr, Ibn Amer, Asim, Hamza and Al-Kasai.

Al-Shatibiyyah is one of the first poems that was organized in the science of readings, if it was not the first at all, and in addition to that it contained the seven frequent readings, it is considered one of the eyes of poetry with what it contains of sweetness of words, sobriety of style, quality of casting, good preamble, beauty of the beginning and the syllable, splendor of meaning, highness of direction and wonderful Judgment and good guidance are right, as the scholar Ibn Al-Jazari said:

«And whoever stands on his poem knows the amount of what God has given him in that, especially the Lamiyah, which the rhetoricians after him were unable to oppose, because he does not know the amount of it except for those who organized it according to its method or contrasted it with what was organized on its way. And this book has been given fame and acceptance that I do not know of any other book in this field.
And people competed in it and wanted to acquire the correct copies of it, and people went to extremes in it, until some of them went beyond the limit that it is not infallible. It was also said about her:

“And the stirrups rode with his poem, the chain of desires and the wisdom of the ranks of poems, which are in readings and drawing, and their memorization is an innumerable creation, and the great poets, rhetoricians, and reader savvy were subjected to it.
Therefore, scholars in all ages and regions received it with good acceptance and gave it the greatest care.

Explanations of Shatibiya
The text of Al-Shatibiyyah has numerous commentaries amounting to more than sixty explanations undertaken by scholars of readings, among these explanations:

Al-Wafi in explaining Al-Shatibiya by Abdel-Fattah Al-Qadi.
Guidance of the aspirant to the intended purpose of Ali Muhammad al-Dabaa.
Highlighting the meanings from the hopes of Abu Shama al-Maqdisi.
