From our shores on our doorstep to the endless expanses of the high seas, from the icy polar regions to the tropics full of corals, mangroves and sharks, from the mudflats to the deepest darkness of the deep sea.

No matter how far away you live from the coast: our app is the shortest way to the sea!

Go on a long journey and navigate the seas. Travel into the past and the future and encounter giant whales, cheeky crabs and glowing octopuses. And whenever you want to know more: with one click you get an answer and much, much more!

Find out what the seas were like once (paradisiacal and full of life), what they are like today (fished empty and full of noise and plastic waste) and how lively they can be again tomorrow if we all do something. Our app gives you lots of tips on what you can do! It's best to get together with your friends, it's even more fun together.

You can test your knowledge with quizzes and watch deep-sea angler fishing dance in videos. You hear how a gurnard (a fish) growls and you can dive into the “head cinema” together. We'll show you how to fish with salt ice cubes and the best way to watch whales. And above all, you will get lots of ideas on how you can become a marine conservationist. Whoever of you has discovered everything will be ceremoniously named a “doctor fish” with a certificate!

The special thing about our app is that the children on our team asked us the questions. And not the adults. Our marine protection organization DEEPWAVE works with marine biologists, divers and deep-sea researchers who have a lot of knowledge when it comes to the oceans. But we had to do a lot of research to answer all the questions. We came across the strangest things and discovered lots of exciting connections that we ourselves didn't know about. You can now find all the answers in the app.

The template for this game is our sea primer “Our Blue Planet - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, a booklet that you can pack in your bag when you go on an adventure to the seas. Whether on the beach, in the hammock or on the sofa. And maybe you'll actually feel like going to the sea: the North and Baltic Seas aren't as far away as you think. And there are even whales there too! Which? Check out the app!

If your parents or older siblings are curiously looking over your shoulders: the game is also suitable for young and older adults. We promise you that you will see the seas and their inhabitants with different eyes. The best prerequisite for being able to work for them!
