★What kind of anime is My Hero Academia? ★
My Hero Academia is a Japanese anime produced by Bonds and based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi². In a world where many humans have supernatural abilities called Quirks, the story depicts the activities of Izuku Midoriya (commonly known as ``Deku''), a boy who aims to become the best hero, and his friends at Yuei High School⁴. A total of 6 seasons of the TV anime have been produced from 2016 to 2023, and OVA and theatrical animations are also being made². It has been explosively popular not only in Japan but also overseas, and was even made into a stage play in 2023.
