Islamic Shia Events for PC

This application contains Events of Birth and Martyrdom of Fourteen (14) Infallibles (Masoomeen) (a.s) and other significant occasions with brief history of Islamic Shia religion.

There are twelve Islamic months; the names of Islamic months are Muhararam, Safar, Rabi al-awwal, Rabi al-sani, Jumada al-awwal, Jumada al-akhirah, Rajab, Shaban, Ramadan, Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah, Dhu al-Hijjah. New Islamic year begins from the long stretch of Muharram. Four months are viewed as sacrosanct among the twelve months which are Muharram, Dhu al-Qadah, Rajab and Dhu al-Hijjah. The length of an Islamic month relies on the lunar cycle.
