otherspace is a generative, immersive, and audio-reactive sound experience that refigures the smartphone in the service of detaching from the habitual, exploring the subtle, and empowering sustainable relationships with the externalities that influence existing day-to-day.

otherspace records your sound environment and re-presents interesting sounds as compositional elements within four atmospheric spaces. each space is composed on-the-fly in response to your surroundings, and inhabit spatial dimensions that are only accessible with headphones. with each use, otherspace deepens its interpretations with your surroundings and their connection to each space.
