RoMa007 “RoMa” (Routine Master - from 00 hours to 00 hours 7 days a week, or 24X7) is an online platform for parents and children to manage jointly children's digital exposure.

The pandemic, and consequent online schooling has aggravated the already growing upsurge in digital outreach and daily exposure for students across the globe. Smartphones and tablets in the hands of children, while a necessity, have been posing severe challenges for parents. Balancing the pros and cons of granting digital freedom to kids and determining the limits of that freedom creates family friction, and is widely perceived to be a leading cause of conflict between parents and school-going children.

RoMa aims to help parents regulate and manage not only digital time and access but also link it to outputs and outcomes. This platform is designed to facilitate academic success as well as prepare the students for career success throughout their lives by helping them create meaningful routines, primarily digital but also around other daily activities and chores and monitoring the discipline of following these routines.

In other words, RoMa puts the control back in the hands of the parent on when, what and how much exposure they want the children to have, while also accurately reporting digital usage and performance, qualitative and quantitative.  

Permissions:
1. Battery Optimization:

Battery Optimization service controls allow us to keep the RoMa007 app running in the background even with the power saving mode enabled. This allows the RoMa app to consistently track the relevant device activities in all modes and at all times.

2. Usage Stats:

Provides access to device usage history and statistics. Usage data is aggregated into time intervals: days, weeks, months, and years.

We utilize Usage Stats in determining the device use by time, and leverage the information to report to the parents an accurate picture of when and how long a device has been used. This functionality becomes more critical where the child has access to multiple devices.

3. Accessibility Permission:

Please note that we are not using accessibility permissions to make any changes to your device settings.
We are seeking your permission to use Accessibility service so we can keep track of the switching of apps on the device.
This information allows us to report to the parent the actual app use by time across single or multiple sessions and the actual time of use.
