Accordingly, a person who does not believe in the existence of angels in the religion of Islam and the angelic view of the religion of Islam does not become a believer. The subject is mentioned in the Qur'an in 2/285 and 2/177.

The number and types of angels are not fully specified in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an, or hadiths. However, some types of angels and their duties are mentioned both in the Qur'an and in the hadiths. In the religion of Islam, there are four archangels, primarily known as the four archangels. These are: Gabriel, Mikail, Israfil and Azrâil.
