An application for those with secrets.

The app captures and stores photos in encoded form, making them inaccessible to the device's gallery and other apps. Access to the app is protected by a password and a camouflage feature disguised as a music app. Images saved using encryption cannot be deciphered without the key, even if the file is extracted from the phone. Security concept: all data is stored only on the user's device, and there is no server-based architecture for storing user images, previews, keys, or passwords. However, users can share images in both encrypted and decrypted forms, receiving images from other users and decrypting them using a similar encryption key.

Data Storage Features:

Thumbnails are stored in the internal directory of the app with the extension .p and are not encrypted. Thumbnail pixel size can be selected in settings from 1x1 px to 100x100 px.
Original images are stored in the internal directory of the app. When encryption is used, the file is saved with the .kk extension. If the user chooses not to use encryption, the file is saved with the .o extension. When a user shares a decrypted image, a temporary file with the .peekaboo extension is created. In this form, the file can be sent by any available method. Once the user closes the viewing window of this image, the decrypted copy is deleted from the device. Encrypted images are only stored in encrypted form. Users can change encryption settings through the Settings menu.
Encryption key and password are stored in a secure manner. For security reasons, there is no option to recover the key and password. If you forget the password to access the app, the best solution is to uninstall and reinstall the app. In case of key loss, you can create a new key without reinstalling the app, but images saved with the old key will be inaccessible. You can clear image storage, change the key, or password through the Settings menu.
Encryption System Operation Features:
The app has three encryption modes:

NO ENCRYPTION. Files are saved without entering an encryption key – files are stored on the device in a format inaccessible to other apps and the gallery, but a malicious actor could read them if they gain control of the device. If a file sent from the device is obtained, its content can be read.
PERMANENT ENCRYPTION KEY (optimal option). The user creates or generates an encryption key. The key is used to encrypt the file according to the Advanced Encryption Standard. The file is stored on the device in encrypted form, and even with access to the device's memory (or a received encrypted file), a malicious actor cannot read the content without the encryption key. The key is stored in the app in a secure manner.
VARIABLE ENCRYPTION KEY. The key is not stored in the app but is requested each time during login. It exists in the app only while it is open. The highest level of security, but if you forget the old key or decide to change it, files saved previously with a different key will not be accessible. In the Settings menu, you can always change security options.
