'Cha Seba' Mobile App is a new addition to the development of the Bangladesh Tea Industry. Tea and tea-related information like history, botany, environment, Bangladesh tea, saplings production methods for both tea and shade species, cultivation practices, soil and fertilizer management, integrated pest management, processing methods of black tea in the factory, biochemistry of tea, tea economics, and statistics, tea cultivation calendar, etc. are presented in both Bangla and English in the database very quickly and consistently. Through the app, users will be able to communicate with the respective scientists of BTRI. The app will be updated frequently. With mobile data or a WiFi connection launch, one can download this app from Google Play Store only. After installing the app on a smartphone, offline access will be available without an internet connection. I hope that this app will play a vital role in the development of the Bangladesh Tea Industry.

‘চা সেবা’ মোবাইল অ্যাপ বাংলাদেশ চা শিল্পের উন্নয়নে একটি নতুন সংযোজন। অ্যাপটির তথ্যভান্ডারে চা এবং চা আবাদ সংশ্লিষ্ট তথ্যসমূহ যথা: চা’য়ের উৎপত্তি ইতিহাস, উদ্ভিদতত্ব, পরিবেশ, বাংলাদেশ চা, চা ও ছায়া তরুর চারা উৎপাদন পদ্ধতি, চা আবাদ কৌশল, মাটি ও সার ব্যবস্থাপনা, সমন্বিত বালাই দমন ব্যবস্থাপনা, কারখানায় কালো চা প্রস্তুতকরণ পদ্ধতি, চা’য়ের প্রাণরসায়ন, চা অর্থনীতি ও পরিসংখ্যান, চা আবাদ পঞ্জিকা, ইত্যাদি গুরত্বপূর্ন বিষয়সমূহ বাংলা ও ইংরেজি ভাষায় চিত্রসহ, সাবলীলরুপে, ধারাবাহিকভাবে উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে। অ্যাপটির মাধ্যমে ব্যবহারকারীগণ বিটিআরআই এর সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগের বিজ্ঞানীগণের সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে পারবেন। অ্যাপটির নিয়মিত আপডেট সুবিধাও ধাকব। মোবাইল ডেটা কিংবা ওয়াইফাই সংযোগ চালু রেখে কেবলমাত্র Google Play Store থেকে অ্যাপটি ডাউনলোড করা যাবে। স্মার্টফোনে অ্যাপটি ইনস্টল করার পর ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ ছাড়াই অফলাইন সুবিধা পাওয়া যাবে। আশা করি, এই অ্যাপটি বাংলাদেশ চা শিল্পের উন্নয়নে গুরত্বপূর্ন ভূমিকা পালন করবে।
