Keyboard Extension is a productivity application that allows you to control your Windows computer from a mobile device in a more efficient way.

2. Install both Windows and Android apps
3. Connect apps via WiFi, Bluetooth or a Web-server.
4. (Optional) Create account in Windows app in order to enable Layout Editor and Autohotkey plugins creation.

Q. What connection method is the best for my devices?
• WiFi: recommended for most of the users with computer and mobile device sharing the same router;
• Bluetooth: requires a modern Bluetooth adapter on your computer and your phone.
• Web-server: if you are experiencing issues with firewalls, your devices are not in the same network, you don’t have a spare Bluetooth adapter.
Connection via WiFi and Bluetooth does not require your portable device to be connected to the Internet.

Q. Do I need to create an account?
No, it is not obligatory, though highly recommended. Without an account you can access all publicly available layouts and plugins. You will need to create an account if you want to have your own layouts and plugins. It also opens access to advanced functionality and a wider selection of plugins.
