Orange Antivirus for PC

With the free application Orange Antivirus powered by Bitdefender your phone is protected against viruses and malicious applications, being completely safe when you surf the net. And if you lose your phone, you have the possibility to locate it, block it or delete information from it, even remotely. In addition, you can set an alarm, which helps you find him quickly, if he wanders around the house.

The application can be downloaded, but it is only available to Orange subscribers. If you don't have an option or subscription with included access, you can test it for 30 days. Later, to continue to benefit from its advantages, you must activate the Orange Antivirus option (1 euro/month, including VAT) or a new subscription with included access. The option fee will be found on your Orange bill.

To use the application, you need an Orange online account; if you don't already have one, you can create one at www.orange.ro/contul-meu.

What else do you need to know?

• the web security function is available for both the phone browser and Chrome
• the wipe device function requires permission to access private information
• if you have a phone with Android 4.1, you can uninstall the application only after manually disabling the device administrator (Device Admin)


how to uninstall the app
Go to the menu settings > security > device administrators, uncheck the Orange Antivirus application from the list and then click disable. Then you can uninstall the application.
You will be asked to enter the PIN, this is the numerical code you used when you activated the anti-theft function.

This app requires Device Administrator permission for the Anti-Theft feature and uses Accessibility Services to provide protection against online threats through web security by detecting malicious URLs while browsing the web.
